The study group on Sunday was so greatHearing others insights on the reading and exercises is very helpful! I have been inspired to continue the reading and exercising each day. Thanks everyone!

  1. I am reading about FIRE today. I wonder if people who are reading MT (Mother Tongue) feel like your fire is roaring or if it feels more like a flicker. We have seasons in our spiritual life of each, and some places in between. What do you do when your spirit fire is more like a dim flame, in order to fan your flame and regain your fire?

  2. I really liked the section on Resurrection. Especially this quote: "Before God can create a new thing in us, something first has to die." I find that I have to die to my self doubt and my feelings that I am not "good enough" or "smart enough" or "___ enough" over and over again. I have to let go of these things so God can do something new with me. I like thinking about this as an act of resurrection in my life.

  3. I also liked the section on Resurrection. I can clearly see when my life turned from dark to light. When Jesus resurrected me. I also have to die to things everyday and let Jesus resurrect me over and over. It's kinda cool to think of it that way. It seems like it's a little more then letting God be in control, it's more like starting anew with my life all the time.

  4. The section on Resurrection was also interesting to me. I don't see exactly where my life turned form dark to light. It seems to me that it was a gradual opening of the door and letting the light shine in gradually. I was cautious and protective of myself and my life and stepping into the light and becoming new. I now see my starting anew happens all the time in me and my life because I have opened up to the possibilities of allowing God in my life and walking in the light. :)
